Guest Policy
For obstetric appointments, one guest may be invited into the procedure room during the final 5–10 minutes for a special “show and tell” experience. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize patient care and comfort.
Clinic Safety
To maintain a safe and controlled clinical environment, rubber gloves are not permitted inside the clinic.
Appointments & Walk-In Services
X-ray services are available on a walk-in basis.*
All other imaging services require a scheduled appointment. Please contact our team to book in advance.
Health & Safety
If you or a member of your household are experiencing any of the following symptoms, we kindly ask that you reschedule your visit:
- New or worsening cough
- Shortness of breath
- Fever or feeling feverish
- Vomiting or diarrhea
Our team will be happy to assist you with rebooking at a later time.
* Please note: X-rays involving five or more body parts require a pre-booked appointment. Walk-in availability is not offered for these exams.
MedRay Imaging has proudly served Vancouver and the Lower Mainland since 1981, providing trusted diagnostic imaging to communities including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody for over 40 years.
Today, we continue that legacy at our Gordon Professional Centre, along with our newly opened White Rock location, expanding access to high-quality care across the region.
Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a full range of services, including Digital X-ray, Diagnostic Mammography, Bone Density (DEXA), Ultrasound, and image-guided pain management—delivered with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and patient care.
Strict No Recording Policy
All forms of photography, videography, and live video streaming (including Zoom or FaceTime) are strictly prohibited during examinations. This policy is in place to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
OUR CORE PURPOSE is to preserve and improve health and quality of life through medical imaging.
The MedRay team is led by a group of highly skilled and sub-specialty trained Radiologists who provide services to the Fraser Health Authority at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster and Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody. This provides MedRay patients and referring physicians with the highest possible level of service by providing continuity of care at these hospitals. All MedRay Imaging exams are performed by professionally trained technologists. All of our X-ray technologists are certified with the Canadian Association of Medical Imaging Technologists. Our Ultrasound technologists are certified with Sonography Canada.
MSP Eligible. All services are covered under MSP with a valid BC Care Card, or other provincial public health insurers.

We expect all individuals, including patients, their guests, and our staff to treat one another with Respect and Courtesy. The safety and security of our patients and staff is our top priority. We will not tolerate abusive, violent or disrespectful behaviour. We appreciate that health care appointments are stressful but we request that you help maintain a stress free environment.
Children and dependants: For the safety and security of children and our guests, children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Furthermore, children, spouses and other guests are not permitted into the exam rooms. Please arrange for child care during your appointment. We will need to reschedule your appointment otherwise. Thank you.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your appointment to allow for the check in process or other delays.
Appointment cancellations: we require 24 hours notice, otherwise you will be subject to a $75 No Show/Late Cancellation Fee.
